DPT Faculty Position

The Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions (RMUoHP) is experiencing continued growth and is currently accepting applications for three (3) to five (5) new faculty positions at the assistant, associate, or professor level.  These positions are 12-month appointments that will begin in the spring of 2018.  The ideal candidates will have earned a post professional doctoral degree (PhD, DSc, ScD or EdD) or be willing to pursue one, and be eligible for licensure as a physical therapist in the state of Utah.  Applicants with a clinical doctorate, advanced clinical certification and/or specialty certification will also be considered. Candidates must have the ability to teach core courses in the DPT program. Additional responsibilities will include scholarly activity and service. Salary and rank are commensurate with academic qualifications and experience.

 

Responsibilities include instruction of entry level DPT students in areas of specialties in pathophysiology, differential diagnosis, PT evaluation, evidence based practice, physical agents, procedures, or neuro-rehab.  Interested applicants may apply using the Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions website.  Application reviews will begin immediately and continue until the positions have been filled.
