Chris Keating, DPT

"CLINICAL DECISION MAKING IN THE INTEGRATION OF MANUAL THERAPY FOR THE PAIN SCIENCE PHYSICAL THERAPIST"

Chris grew up in Cherry Hill and has spent his career serving the community he lives in. He graduated from Thomas Jefferson University in 2009 with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and Rutgers in 2006 with a BA in General Science. Chris is a Fellow in the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists after graduating from Regis University in 2016. He is the Director of Specialty Programs, Industrial Rehab Medicine, and Education in addition to the Clinical Director of Marlton. Chris is an adjunct professor and clinical faculty for Drexel University, Arcadia University, Temple University, Thomas Jefferson University, and Evidence In Motion Orthopedic Residency and Doctorate Programs. Chris has served on the American Physical Therapy Association of NJ Board of Directors and has presented research at national conferences and journals. He is an Orthopedic Board-Certified Clinical Specialist and certified in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy, Graston Techniques and trained in Trigger-Point Dry Needling. Chris is passionate about providing the highest quality conservative orthopedic care to maximize performance using a evidence-based, patient-centered approach.

Mike Studer, PT, MHS, NCS, CEEAA, CWT

"The Science of Falls Prevention"

Mike is the president and co-owner of NWRA. “I am proud of what we have created at NWRA. Our staff includes master clinicians that are exceptional people. It is a pleasure to treat patients alongside them.”

Mike has been the vice-president of the American Physical Therapy Association’s Neurology Section and has been chair of three different special interest groups at a national level. He has been board-certified as a Clinical Specialist in Neurologic Physical Therapy since 1995 and has published over 25 articles on topics ranging from cognitive rehabilitation, stroke, balance, Parkinson’s and health policy. He has been an invited speaker at many universities, national and international venues since 1992, lecturing in nearly every state during this span.

Mike holds the distinction as being the only PT in the US to be recognized with the national award for clinical excellence in two different categories, neurology and geriatrics.

On a personal note, Mike is an avid tennis player, triathlete and marathoner; a father of three, and proud sponsor of many local Salem-area charities with his wife, Diane!

Pediatric Track

Kathy Martin, PT

Orthoses for Children:  Foundational Principles and Evidence-Based Practice

Dr. Martin received a BA in Athletic Training from Purdue University in 1987, her MS in Physical Therapy from University of Indianapolis in 1990, and Doctor of Health Science from University of Indianapolis in 2003. She is currently a full Professor at University of Indianapolis. Her clinical background includes early intervention and pediatric acute care. Dr. Martin teaches the pediatric DPT content at the University of Indianapolis, and her research efforts have focused on orthoses and children with hypotonia. Dr. Martin is currently Chair of the Education Committee and member of the Academy of Pediatric Physical Therapy Movement System Task Force.
